We All Want To Make A Difference,

But How Can We Affect Our Community?

  • The First Step
  • The first step of making any non-violent social reform is often a grass roots organization or some other socio-political outreach group. Even before the Wall St. Protests many of us have felt dis-empowered and beaten by a system that we live in. Even on our local level funds are appropriated but often times mis-spent or incorrectly allocated and the only ones we have to blame are ourselves for not being more motivated or driven to speak out!

We're tired of Our Jobs going overseas or moved to an area where people will work for less. America used to be about production and manufacturing our own goods but now so much is imported because it's cheaper for corporations to give our jobs to those in other countries because their money is somehow worth even less than our own! Our own friends and families right here in St. Joseph are suffering as well, with foreclosures on homes, job losses right here in our community, outrageous price increases unaccompanied by wage increases. How much longer can we tread this dark water of financial worry before something worse happens than what we've all ready endured? Do you want to find out? Many of us have brought the Democratic Process to the steps of City Hall where we organize and speak about the issues affecting us and our city as well as our state and country! These issues are all intertwined and connected so there isn't anyone one of you, or US, that isn't affected by these issues. Instead of waiting for the solution from your government that most assuredly will only have the benefits of corporations in their interest, we must act NOW!

We all ready have support on a state-wide level from other cities doing the SAME thing we're doing, and there are well over 150 cities NATION-WIDE doing the SAME thing also. In all, this is a movement of people taking responsibility and standing up to possess their accountability with an open-arm and open-mind embrace that is spanning all over the globe to more than 1600 cities! This is a movement of the people-for the people, not our governements or corporations that keep the table rigged. When the people want change they shall have it. There are many ways you can contribute, even from work or home. We need as many friends and helpers as possible because every voice counts and every body makes us that much stronger and more defiant against the tyranny of the corporate oppression we face every day of our lives. Even our founding fathers knew the effects of a Central Bank in charge of our money supply and value. They fought an entire Revolutionary War against it. America was once known as the Home of the Brave, so HELP US KEEP IT THAT WAY!
